The bunting is up around preschool, as this week we have been celebrating Breakspeare Bears birthday and of course that means plenty of cake. In the craft area the children have been making a collage and painting cakes, at the round table we have been making and baking playdough cakes and counting lots of candles.
In home corner the teddies have been at a birthday tea party with lots of party food being served to the bears and their friends.
Outside in our garden we have been bouncing and balancing with hoppers and wobble boards. There have been picnics on our pirate ship with the food being delivered to the children using ropes and bags to haul it aboard.
In Blossom Group our nursery children have been doing lots of craft activities based around birthday celebrations from making wrapping paper, cards and sequin crowns and creating cakes and pizzas on the ‘Busy Fingers’ table.
