Our Management

Breakspeare Community Preschool is a charity (registered charity no.: 1130840) and is managed by a committee of up to 9 volunteer members. There are a number of positions in the committee including Chairperson, Secretary and Treasurer. The committee is involved in ensuring that the preschool runs smoothly and in accordance with the policies set by Ofsted and The Pre-school Learning Alliance.  It is also involved in ensuring the preschool remains financially stable and in the ongoing process of raising funds through fundraising and grant applications.  Members get access to the minutes of meetings and will naturally be the first to be asked to help out, although any parent can offer help.

In addition to our 9 committee members, all parents can become ‘Family Members’ allowing them to speak and vote at our AGM. We also strongly encourage everyone to get involved with and support our fundraising activities.
