Virtual Tour Breakspeare Community Preschool
Welcome to Breakspeare Community Preschool. We are a preschool in Abbots Langley village for children aged from 2 years. We have a strong team of staff and welcome children to join us for an unforgettable experience.
We like to do lots of messy activities such as sand, soil, gloop, jelly play, painting, sticking as well as the more traditional dolls, cars, trains, animals and tricycles. We have a music and movement session every day, a story time and a circle time. We ensure all children are safe, happy, learning and having fun whilst in our care.
Staff, parents and our Committee work very hard to make sure every child has a great time at Breakspeare. We follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) to help the children achieve the outcomes of staying safe, being healthy, enjoying and achieving, positive contribution and economic well-being. Each child is also allocated a Key Person who will work closely with them, making observations inline with the EYFS structure and building a Children’s journal, which you will be given when your child leaves preschool.
Our Half Term Plan outlines the themes and topics that we plan for and look to cover. This is a flexible plan which we would always look to adapt where necessary following the needs and interests of the children.
